We're taking the time to find the right fit — filling a seat fast isn't the goal. You already bring a license and skilled hands — we'll show you how we work here, and add to what you've got. What's harder to find is the rest of it: someone who treats people like partners, never tears another provider down, and wants to keep learning for life.
Afternoons, Monday–Friday (your mornings stay yours), with weekends fully available if you want them. Building a caseload we help you fill. 44% split, sessions from $125, plus a membership inside Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition. 1099 to start, with a W2 path available.

This isn't a mill.

No back-to-back conveyor belt, no scripts, no running everyone through the same routine. Every client is assessed as an individual and gets a plan built around them. If you got into this work to actually change someone's trajectory — and you've been worn down by places that treat bodies like a factory line — keep reading.

What you'd do

  • Assess every client individually — range of motion, neural tension, sport movement breakdown
  • Build individual plans for clients — manual therapy, corrective exercise/mobility advice
  • Keep clean, same-day notes

Who you'd work with

A wide range — youth athletes through active adults. Some are straightforward. Some have been everywhere else and are still looking for answers. Your job is to hear people, read the whole picture, and help them get back to the life they love — or know when it's appropriate to refer out.

Movement has to be yours, too

We're a movement-forward clinic, and that isn't a tagline — it's the job. This one isn't a bonus point; it's a deciding factor.

You don't have to compete at anything, and we're not screening for a body type. But you do need to genuinely understand movement and live it in some capacity — your own training, a sport, coaching, a credential, or all of it.

If you can feel what you're asking a client to do, you'll teach it better.

If movement is only something you've read about, this won't be the right room.

Who this clinic isn't for

If the version of this work you love most is holding a calm, quiet, restorative space — this probably isn't your room. That's not a knock. There's real need for it, and the people who do it well impact people's lives in life-changing ways.

Swedish work isn't off the table here either. It has a place inside a plan and we use it. But we're not a spa. No crystals, no sound bath, nobody drifting off. Most sessions here involve a client working, talking, being asked to move, and leaving with something to do before next time.

If that sounds draining instead of energizing, you'd be happier somewhere built for the other thing — and I mean that as respect, not a dig.

What we care about most

Skill matters — but character comes first here. We've spent years earning the trust of the local clinician community that sends us their hardest cases, and that reputation is the business. We need someone who treats it like their own, who never tears another provider down, and who sees clients as partners in their recovery — not problems to fix.

Skill we can build on. Character has to already be there.

The schedule — and the real perk

Afternoons, Monday through Friday, building up to five a week as your caseload grows — which means your mornings stay your own. Weekends are fully available too, if you want the extra room to build. And here's the rare part: you don't hunt for clients. The owner drives the demand — marketing, networking, community — and hands you the work. You focus on doing it well and growing your caseload at the pace you choose.

That said, you're encouraged to get out there with us. Local events, networking, community nights — we show up as a team, not as one person out front and one in the back room. The more people in this community know you, the faster your own caseload fills, and the more it's genuinely yours.

And the building helps. The clinic sits inside a facility we share with Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition, Shark Bite Gymnastics, and Play Strong Intensives. Athletes, parents, and coaches move through that space every day — people who watch you work and start asking questions. That's a real part of how a caseload fills here.

Compensation

Commission — 44% of service revenue. Sessions start at $125 (with room to grow as you build your reputation), which works out to about $55 per session. Here's what that looks like as your caseload fills:

Clients / weekPer weekPer monthPer year
10$550~$2,380~$28,600
15$825~$3,570~$42,900
20$1,100~$4,760~$57,200

At the $125 session floor. These are gross figures — as a 1099 contractor you'd handle your own taxes.

Straight talk on the ramp: that caseload builds over months, not overnight — you'll likely start light and grow it as clients (and the gym's members) get to know you. We'd rather tell you that up front than sell you a full book on day one.

Plus a membership inside Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition: we want you training and known in the community here, because the more the members know you, the more they'll trust you with their bodies.

And there's room to build past the table. If you want to produce and run your own seminars — teaching what you know to a room — that's encouraged here. It's a second line of revenue and a way to build your own name in this community, not just ours.

The honest arc

You'd start as a 1099 contractor. A path to W2 is available as the role and the caseload develop. It's a two-person clinic, so there's a lot to learn fast and nowhere to coast.

You won't be dropped in cold. There's a brief period of shadowing, co-treating, and observation up front — enough to get the feel of how we work, not a probation period. After that, mentorship every other week, plus short check-ins to keep us on the same page. You'd have someone to think out loud with, which is more than most clinics offer anybody.

We'd rather take our time and get this right than move fast and get it wrong.

You're likely a fit if

  • You're a licensed LMT in SWFL
  • You understand and live movement yourself — training, sport, coaching, a credential (CES, CSCS, CPT, corrective exercise), or some combination
  • You think in kinetic chains, not just spots
  • You take feedback without ego and want to keep learning for life
  • Weekday afternoons genuinely work for your life (weekends available if you want them)
  • You'd rather build something with someone than be handed a job
